A MISERABLE DAY AT WORK......

Yesterday (26/6/08) was a doom's day for me...
I didn't expect de day to be dat bad to de extent i ended up cryin silently...
It was really miserable...
I took 12 cases accompanied by kak sue, was happy dat i finally got to take cases in de mornin..
Initially it was smooth aft de doctor's round things started to get hectic...
I was unable to cope up wid de changes...
Dr's a real mean to do so much of changes in one day..
It was really stressful...
I didn't even have the time to write ma report... till 1pm i was strugglin to write ma report,whereas i'm suppose to start servin meds den...
It was ultimately shitty....

Den came de bomb!. Dis particular idiotic patient had a wonderful broken skin, i was told to pass de central report, dats wen ma great nurse clinician asked abt dat particular patients's broken skin at her sacral region.
I was not aware abt her broken skin at her sacral area,..
So many pairs of eyes were staring at me and I was jus standin there like a dumb ass tellin her dat it was jus excoriation and not a broken skin... ( De great joke was she was de one who spotted de broken skin!)
Dats wen she literally scolded me... It was really embarrassing....
I felt so pissed for wat she did.. its not dat i didn't check.. its jus dat i didn't hv dat bloody time to check.. wid dat amount of bloody work, how she expects me to check!!
i felt so embarrassed dat i jus walked into de cubicle n hide maself n started crying...!!
i felt so hopeless n useless... it was really frustrating.... i didn't expect ma day to be dat bad!!
At last kak sue was there to help me or else.... i think i would've been a dead meat.

Already sum of ma fellow mates are gettin wonderful comments from some idiots sayin dat we're not good and so on ...
I'm jus feelin scared n worried.. i'm afraid whether i'll be a confirmed staff or not... Haiz

Well de only thing which i can do now is to jus forget whatever has happened n learn from ma mistakes... Aft all i'm still gettin into de transition....

Today i got a golden opportunity to observe an ECT procedure..
Its a rare chance indeed, de wonders of dat electric shock can really bring a wild n maniac person to a soft and normal person... Isn't dat a wonder?
Hmmmm... well sumtimes i feel dat sum normal ppl (eg:B1 and Senior) have to really hv 12 cycles of ECT....
Haiz.. if onli i was a psy doctor.. i can shock dem hehehe
Ok i think i laughed too much.. tomorrow is gonna be a real bad day for me i guess...

I still remember during ma NYP days....
When there's an assessment de whole lot of ma classmates will be practicing for dat particular practical for at least a week n eventually sum will pass n sum will fail.
But now at TTSH we're havin crash course..
We'll have lecture for de first half day, den we'll hv assessment...
And there'll be 100% passes...
I'm really proud of ma self... hahaha

Neway TTSH is a super scary hospital..
I n siti had a real scary experience...

Went to escape..wid ma sec sch babes...
Was super fun....
All de rides looked fun... But den i realised dat looks can deceive...

I was dying to take de 360degrees ride,
I was literally laughing, where as ma frens were screamin their lungs out...
Looks like i was jus enjoyin dat extreme moment in ma life.. hahahah

Next we took de viking ride...
It was literally super scary..
You noe de feeling dat your heart is gonna pop put of ur mouth.. eeekk!
I ws literally cryin.... cos it was very traumatising...
But dat didn't stop me from goin for de ride again... i went for 2 more rides .. hahaha

Aft de viking, we went for de kart ride...
There was dis lil boy there who needed an adult to assist him... so i was told to sit beside him n drive de kart..
Come on ppl, dis's ma ever first time driving in ma entire life......
So i banged here n there.... i wasn't a perfect driver....
But den a embarassin thing happened to me,dat lil arse boy was assisting me, telling me,wen to put de brake n went to accelerate..
Kau!! can u guys imagine.. a 22 yr old woman being assissted by a 6 yr old boy...
Arrgg very pressurising seh...

De best part was he commented on ma driving, sayin dat his dad can drive better den me...
ARRGG!!! its so paiseh!!
Never in ma life i'm goin to drive a kid wid me..
They're jus too straight forward.....

Den aft dat we went to de damn haunted house.. OMG!!!
It was scary.. even though i didn't open ma eyes....
I was literally freaking out cos of de screams..

Well went for a makeover last friday..
De makeup was like super duper thick to de extent dat even if ya smile a bit u can see cracks at de side of ur lips...
It was a super golden chance for me....

It was a great day out!! ..

Prcp is goin well..

Despite sum bitter, kuku incidents its kinda fun esp wen siti is ard.
Oh... my wonderful preceptor and siti literally cannot get along, can u imagine they both really pass sarcastic comments to each other...

Today, siti told one of our staff dat my preceptor was kinda irritatin and was ungrateful, den dat staff told my preceptor not to bully her..

Another niteout wid him...
Had an overnite sesion wid him...
It was rather fun, but de rain kinda cocked things up n we didn't really plan properly too..
It all started off at "spot kitchen" an eat out at amk, from there we went to a block opposite NYP..
Happily sittin there like a kuku n thinkin wat to do ahead,
From there we went off to changi, spent sumtime there...
From there we went off to east coast, went to mac cafe had hot chocolate n double chocolate ice blended yummy!!, aft dat we had a good long walk ..
From there we went to changi airport's coffebean... well we were practically dozin off at de coffebean's sofa.. hahahha
Den from there we went to Pasir Ris park...by den it was ard 530 in de mornin..
So we had a golden chance to se de sun rise... hmm nice nice!!
Aft all de outing was a nice one hmmm....
We covered 3 parks in 1 day hahahahah..
Eventot we didn't really plan.. we did had a lot of fun laughin n practically talkin shits..

Prcp was goin fine for de first 2 weeks ..
It was fun werkin till de 3rd week, Took 6 cases on de first day itself..
It was thrillling!!!
Another male RN was in charge of me. Eventhough i did sum mistakes here n there, he managed to correct dem in a RITE way, unlike my preceptor.. dat irritatin woman..
My preceptor is a china woman, seriously speakin i can't stand her..
First and foremost, she's really a idiotic arse, who criticises n really get onto ma nerves...
Her way of teachin is very eeekk, cos i'll get even more blur n confused...

A lil outing wid ma beloved beloved honey....
Ha..Ha... Initially we planned to watch
'Disney's Enchanted" movie, but den sum stuffs got cocked up n we ended up cancellin de movie trip...(I dun care ajay i wan u to burn for me de DVD quality of de movie..).
Went to Serangoon garden's CoffeeBean...
Had a drink, had pasta, talked crap, did shits... Sat there for 4 long hours jus simply talkin crap admirin stuffs and simply enjoying each other's company...

Den, we had a long walk ard de estate. It was such a beautiful place to walk ard...hmmmm beautiful....but den eh, de dogs there were kinda noisy, apart from dat it was soo peaceful n quiet.
Aft dat we headed to Changi beach, watched those planes flying over and sat along de beach , jus simply admirin de moon .
Oh not forgettin dis ,a slow walk along de beach hahaha was superb fun ...!!!

Yesterday had our presentations, de cleamus one..
Seriously de look on his face was scary as if he didn't like de prresentation, he did said sum comments but eventually he said "well done"!!
So i feel a bit betta .. den aft dat haz,bib,sue n huda went to donut factiry...

Today went to sch to do our project, managed to do sum.. well all thanks to hud an her editing talents.. she's good wid comp at last!!!

So we went in n sat on de plastic chair at de waitin area...
There he came again.. n i looked away..
Et had a hard time i guess, cos i was like talkin abt kuma alllll de way...

HAPPY MOTHER:S DAY... Went for seafood wid ma coucin's family n us...
